CHESTER found promotion-chasing Morley too strong in this National Three North League clash but a weakened side put up a real fight.
It was not until the final quarter that the Yorkshiremen made the game safe with a couple of tries via winger Simon Bradshaw who also kicked one conversion to add to two first-half penalties.
Simon Verbickas landed two penalties for Chester after the break and they were denied the lead when a Marcus Lyon try was ruled out for a marginal forward pass decision.
Andy Moore in the pack and Pat Coy at full-back were best for the losers.
