Tither watches West park lose

DESPITE late injuries forcing changes West Park turned in a much better performance against a good Stockport side, who are not at the top of National Three North by chance.

It was a spirited effort that Park will look back on and ultimately feel they should have taken something.

Good news for Park was that Andrew Sterry, who made his debut at hooker for Mario Bonatti and new signing scrum-half Liam Tia-Hogan both had fine games.

Park’s new coach, Andy Tither, appointed on Tuesday, watched from the stands.

This Saturday Park are at home to Sheffield Tigers.
