WIDNES gained revenge for a defeat in November with a comfortable victory over Glossop.
While Widnes were prepared to throw the ball, the visitors had to rely on the efforts of their big pack.
The home side led 17-7 at half-time courtesy of three tries from the Riley brothers – Andrew (2) and Gareth (1) along with a conversion from Jon Hetherington.
Andy Riley completed his hat-trick and Jon Hetherington crossed, before Clark pulled one back for Glossop.
In the last minute, winger Matty Smith crossed for Widnes to round off a good afternoon for the Heath Road faithful.
