NEW BRIGHTON play their final North West One League home game of the season this Saturday when visitors Leigh provide the opposition.
It has been a disappointing campaign for both clubs but they are safe from relegation and with the pressure off they should be able to play an open style game and hopefully give an end of season lift to their loyal supporters.
The Blues did not have a fixture over the Easter period.
Their last matches are at Northwich in a double header on April 17, with the game also counting in the Cheshire Vase, and at Tyldesley on April 24.
They will still need to keep their Hartsfield pitch in playing condition with three finals in Cheshire competitions scheduled for May 9.
Meanwhile, the club held a successful annual dinner last week. Tongan Simione Mafi was handed the Player of the Year award with the Young Player of the Year prize going to Kieran Hibbs.
Luke Thompson was named as the Most Improved Player while Paul Lewis took the Clubman of the Year award.
