SEFTON Park continued their fine start in the First Division and in doing so piled the misery on Fleetwood Hesketh.
The visitors dominated from the start and reduced winless Hesketh to 97-7 before skipper Paul Regan (61) helped boost their total to 195 all out.
Sefton took just 40 overs to wrap up a seven-wicket win. Chris Bellis hit 70 and John Jackson struck 66 not out.

David Dove made 98 in Leigh’s 231-9 declared as Ryan Swiers (3-48) and Liam Crilly (3-48) pegged them back.
Shane Townsend put Maghull in the box seat with 120 but when he departed they were 194-7. Maghull were indebted to key contributions from tailenders Chris Barlow (22) and Swiers (18no) as they got home with just one ball to spare.
Liverpool claimed their first win as they beat Formby by 117 runs. Skipper Andrew Rogers (101) and Steve Nealey (81) helped Liverpool post 271-8 declared off 47 overs.
Formby then slumped to 154 all out with Elliot Ketteringham top scoring with a quickfire 45 as Luke Lynch took 3-42.
Orrell Red Triangle are third after a 93-run win over Rainhill. Richard Sherry (56) and David Everett (81no) led Orrell to 206-7 declared. Andy Mercer (4-34) and Peter Manser (3-32) ensured Rainhill fell short.
Rainford won a low scoring thriller at home to Wigan by one wicket. They appeared to be cruising after Mark Williams (6-42) and Pravin Tambe (3-31) swept Wigan aside for 102. However, Rainford struggled in reply and were thankful for Mike Lambert’s unbowed 28. Mark Shorrocks’s 6-27 reduced them to 96-9 but his efforts were in vain.
Elsewhere, Southport & Birkdale got off the mark with a 40-run victory at Skelmersdale.
