A CAREER-BEST of 88 from Kyle Hogg ensured his Lancashire side were able to fight their way back into their LV= County Championship match against Yorkshire at Old Trafford.
Hogg and Luke Sutton shared a ninth-wicket partnership of 121 in 52 overs to ensure their side avoided the follow on, something which looked highly unlikely when Lancashire started day three at 187 for six in reply to 447.
It meant Yorkshire had to settle for a lead of 89 and they advanced that to 200 by closing on 111 for three from 41 overs.
