RUNCORN are riding the crest of a wave in Division Two of the Meller Braggins Cheshire League with four wins in their last five outings.
They are second eight points behind Prestbury and hope to maintain their good form at Winsford tomorrow.
Huyton meanwhile have established a 16-point advantage at the top of Division One in the Bromborough Paints Merseyside Competition but they will not be able to take anything for granted at Aigburth.
The David Kaufman Memorial Trophy semi-finals are scheduled for Sunday. Port Sunlight have Old Xaverians as visitors while Aigburth entertain the Merseyside Commonwealth. Sunlight and the Commonwealth have yet to put their name on the trophy.
