WEST CHESHIRE AC are targeting a title success on Sunday in Liverpool.
The Chester and Ellesmere Port’s senior squad currently head the Northern Track and Field League Division Two West table as they prepare for the final round this weekend at Wavertree (11.45am start).
And West Cheshire AC will qualify for the end of season Division One play-off match on August 15 by securing a top two finish from their memorable campaign.
Multi-eventers Dave McKay, John Manning, and Niamh Reilly have cemented their club a commanding position at the head of the league table and will be keen to wrap up the season on a winning note.
McKay and Manning, who both picked up injury problems at the previous match which West Cheshire AC won at Longford Park, Stretford, are preparing for another exhausting series of appearances in a bid to earn their club success.
West Cheshire AC retained pole position after the penultimate round of the Northern League where Aidan Stoakley, Tom Booth, Andrew McKay, Dave McKay, Bryony Potter, Jenni Potter, Victoria Anderson, Emily Clarke, and Danielle Erskine all pocketed wins for the club.
The club will hope to field another strong team this Sunday.
