CALDY picked up where they had left off last season with a well deserved seven-try victory at National Two North newcomers Morley.
Despite some excellent defence from the Caldy side, winger Simon Bradshaw found some space out wide to touch down after six minutes.

Morley hit straight back again, Simon Bradshaw finding space from further out as he raced over the line and then converted his own try.
On 22 minutes, Jon Sewell scored after some brilliant interplay between him and John Broxson.Vasey again converted the try.
On 27 minutes, Caldy increased their lead when the impressive Craig Ross powered over in the corner despite being tackled by three would be defenders.
Bradshaw hit back with a penalty on 33 minutes before Gavin Roberts scored Caldy’s bonus point try on 35 minutes which Vasey converted and added a further penalty on the stroke of half-time to leave the score 29-15.
After half-time, after a penalty from Bradshaw, Craig Smithson got his second.
Craig Ross came off his wing to find space as he notched his second of the day, Vasey again converting.
Debutant Mark Rylance scored the try of the day after some slick interplay between a number of players. Morley scored a further try and attempted to get the bonus point with some pressure in the last 10 minutes but Caldy held out for a 50-25 victory.
Next weekend, Caldy start their home league campaign against Kendal (3pm)
