CALDY secured another win at home with a bonus point for scoring four tries.
After the game Stuart Turner said: “It was a good result, five points against a side that was well fancied at the start of the year. I thought that we shut some of their players such as Tevita Vaikona down and coped very well with their game plan.
“Adam Stevens had another excellent game in only his second week at this level.”
Caldy started the game well with a try by winger Ross after he managed to wriggle free from a tackle and just got to the line to score a try.
Gavin Roberts scored a superb try after twenty five minutes when he found space in midfield and danced round several players before scoring out wide. This time Vasey got the conversion to leave the score12-0.
On the stroke of half time, Hull scored a try through replacement centre Robinson to leave the scores close at 12-5.
After half time Caldy upped their game and were first on the scoresheet again with Shuan Woof coming back inside on a backs move to score just by the posts, Vasey converted.
Caldy secured the bonus point win on 65 minutes when Gareth Owen picked up the ball five meters out before stretching his arm over the line for the bonus point try. Vasey converted again to make the scores 26 points to 5.
Hull scored two late tries through Robinson again which was converted by Dorrington and Vaikona who found space out wide to touch down.
