THREE West Cheshire AC youngsters joined forces to earn their county success at the UK National Indoor Sportshall Championships.
Charlotte Williamson, Emily Ball and Amy Williams combined for the victorious Cheshire Under 13 Girls team at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena.
Williamson and Williams were part of the Cheshire team that clinched silver medals in the sprint relay, while Williams claimed fourth spot in the high jump with 1.45m and fifth position in the two lap.
Williamson achieved 2.12m for 18th position in the standing long jump, and was 15th in the two lap, while Ball clocked 52.80 seconds for 14th place in the four lap, and 40cms for 24th position in the vertical jump.
The West Cheshire AC quartet of James McMahon, Daniel Vickers, Matthew Pagan and Chris Harrop steered Cheshire Under 13 Boys to fifth team position.
McMahon and Vickers played their part in helping Cheshire claim silver medals from the sprint relay, while McMahon was 15th in the shot with a put of 8.59m, and Vickers scored 6.40m for 17th position in the standing triple jump. Pagan scored 82 for fifth place in the speed bounce, and posted 22.50 seconds for 15th place in the two lap, while Harrop covered the six lap in 80.90 seconds for 18th spot, and reached 45cms for 20th position in the vertical jump.
Kelly Baker, Olivia Montez-Brown, Chloe Hunt and Laura Rigby teamed up for Cheshire Under 15 Girls who finished fourth in the team event. Baker powered her way to a bronze medal in the shot with a put of 11.44m, and also competed in the two lap, vertical jump, and sprint relay.
