Cheshire Jets’ Bell named BBL’s Most Valuable Player

CHESHIRE Jets shooting guard Jeremy Bell has been named the Most Valuable Player in the 2010/11 BBL season.

Memphis-born Bell had an average of 23 points per game in the regular season in his debut season in Britain and received the award ahead of fellow American Trey Moore of Newcastle Eagles and Mersey Tigers’ Andrew Sullivan, who finished second and third respectively.

The award is voted for by the BBL’s 12 head coaches.
