West Cheshire AC grab a hat-trick of victories at the Cheshire County AA track Relay Championships

WEST CHESHIRE AC celebrated a hat-trick of victories at the Cheshire County AA Track Relay Championships.

The club’s seniors posted success at their home track at Stanney Oaks, Ellesmere Port, in the men’s 4x100m and medley, and the women’s 4x100m.

Aidan Stoakley, Robbie Dagnall, Sam Rimmer and Tom Booth teamed up for a winning time of three minutes 45.8 seconds for success in the medley relay and scored a 4x100m victory in 44.9 seconds.

The quartet of Abi Williams, Danielle Erskine, Bryony Potter, and Rachel Treloar posted a winning time of 51.5 seconds in the senior ladies 4x100m.

West Cheshire’s under-11s girls’ 4x100m quartet of Anna Williams, Dakota Chamberlain, Emma Howe, and Tess Bowman finished second with a time of 64.4 seconds, while the B team of Ellie Finn, Beth McMahon, Maggie Corr, and Jazmine Parrott finished fifth in 70.2 seconds.

Williams, Finn and Chamberlain posted 6:57.8 for sixth spot in the 3x600m relay, while the B team of Bowman, Howe, and Corr clocked 7:06.9 for seventh position, and the C team of Beth McMahon, Lily Moorhouse, and Jazmine Parrott finished 10th in 7:51.2.

Sam Grinter, Alex Earl, Eamonn O’Connell, and William Scott finished third in the under 11 boys 4x100m final with 61.7 seconds, and the B team of Jac Goodall, Paul Morrison, Ewan Brandon, and Morgan Gray clocked 66.7 seconds for second spot in the Auxiliary Final.

Sam Grinter, Jac Goodall, and Paul Morrison teamed up for third spot and a time of 6:08.7 in the under 11 boys 3x600m final, and the team of Eammon O’Connell, William Scott, and Ewan Brandon posted 6:48.0.

FIXTURES this weekend include the Burtonwood 5 Miles Road Race on Saturday at Warrington (4pm start); and the England Track and Field Championships, at Bedford, on Saturday and Sunday.
