IT’S second versus third in National Two North League when Caldy clash with Westoe at Paton Field tomorrow.
Certainly the local side will be smarting after a last ditch reverse at Bromsgrove last week. Westoe will also want to bounce back after yielding to top of the table Loughborough Students.
A ding dong tussle is in prospect but Caldy should win provided they contain the visiting pack.
Waterloo have a tough engagement away to leaders Darlington Mowden Park in National Three North and will do well to gain any reward.
Birkenhead Park come up against third-placed Rossendale at the Upper Park with a battle royal expected in the forwards.
Chester returned to winning form last week and the second placed club should be far too strong for Penrith at Hare Lane.
LSH, who are second in North One, will fancy another victory at home to Wilmslow. Anselmians could do them a favour by winning at leaders Sandbach but it is a tall order for the Malone Field outfit.
Widnes are doing nicely in third place six points off the top but they will not be able to take anything for granted away to Carlisle.
Warrington, after 10 successive defeats, will hardly relish a trip to second placed Tyldesley in South Lancashire/Cheshire One.
Sefton meet Isle of Man opposition for the third week running in Division Two and after victories away to Ramsey and Vagabonds will expect to get the better of Douglas.
Leaders Ruskin Park should not be troubled by visiting Moore.
Match of the day in Division Three looks set for Holm Lane between Parkonians and the University of Liverpool. The clubs are joint second in the table behind unbeaten Wallasey who aim to make it nine from nine when stepping out at Buxton.
