It finished 33-12. Shane Sparrow crossed twice and Matt Cozens, Rob Morley and Rob Hitchmough once each with Warren Hunt targetting four conversions.

Southport enjoyed a 19-9 success over Ellesmere Port but Sefton crashed 17-50 at home to Douglas.
Wallasey kept their unbeaten record in Division Three 15-9 at Buxton and Capenhurst despatched Helsby 26-0.
Parkonians swept past Liverpool University with a seven try show in a 44-5 score.
Port Sunlight took the Wirral derby against Prenton 25-12. Leigh went under 20-28 at Vale of Lune in North One.
A single kick earned Mossley Hill a 3-0 Division Two win at Newton Le Willows. Crosby St Mary’s were also successful 12-7 against visiting Pendle.
