SILLY mistakes proved costly as Chester suffered a third defeat in National Three North League.
It was an opportunity missed for the Hare Lane side as leaders Darlington Mowden Park also came unstuck.
Chester enjoyed most of the possession and territorial advantage but apart from a brace of penalties by Lloyd Hayes their only reward was a third quarter try by Andy Baston.
Kicking in the end decided the issue. Morley landed two penalties in the first period and three later to edge the verdict.
Chester dropped to third in the table.
