Chester aim to get back on track after recent losses

CHESTER face a huge match at home to Lymm this Saturday in National Three North League.

The Hare Lane side after a fine run of success, suddenly lost their form and now find themselves down to third place in the table two points behind Rossendale and six adrift of leaders Darlington Mowden Park.

Lymm have been improving all season and are now just three points behind Chester in fourth place.

Chester hope to have a couple of players returning from injury, but after a free Saturday will need to step out with all guns blazing if they are to renew their promotion challenge.

Chester still have a Cheshire Cup semi-final to fulfil and it is likely to take place away to Northwich on January 2 unless a different plan is made.

There is no league action for clubs after December 17 until January 7 which is a big gap.
