West Cheshire AC’s Rob Tudor seals top 20 finish in the British Masters International Cross Country Championships in Glasgow

ROB TUDOR secured a top 20 position at the British Masters International Cross Country Championships staged at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow.

The West Cheshire AC member finished 16th in the over-45 age group and 74th overall with a time of 28 minutes 35 seconds.

The Chester and Ellesmere Port-based club were also represented by six members at the UK Cross Challenge at Liverpool’s Sefton Park.

Jac Goodall finished 19th in the under-11s boys race with 7:51, while Sophie Hemingbrough finished 54th in the U13s girls race in 13:46, and Cameron Weaver completed the U13s boys race in 38th position with a time of 11:45. Andrew Clague posted 37:05 for 195th position in the men’s ahead of Mark Davies (316th in 40:47), and Dave Hough (429th in 44:55).

West Cheshire AC are now accepting entries for the popular Chester Walls Race

The annual fixture celebrates its 40th anniversary at Chester Racecourse on Boxing Day, and online entry forms can be obtained at: http://www.ukforms.net/onlineforms/php/Applicant.php?EventID=1290

The fixture will be supplemented by a fun run around the inside of the racecourse and entries will be accepted on the day.

FIXTURES this weekend include the North Wales Junior Cross Country League at Wrexham's Ysgol Morgan Llwyd and the Manchester Area Cross Country League at Wythenshawe Park, Manchester both on Saturday.
