Warrington finally record first win of the season

IT was joy day for Warrington as they recorded their first win of the season in South Lancashire/Cheshire One League after thirteen straight reverses.

The celebrations began as they finished 33-22 to the good at home to Orrell.

Hoylake were happy with a convincing 20-0 success over New Brighton at Melrose Avenue.

Collegiate accounted for Tyldesley 21-7.

Wigan found unbeaten leaders Sale too strong and were on the wrong side of a 22-52 result.

Oldershaw were pleased with a 13-10 win over Vagabonds.
