BIRKENHEAD Park started the second half of their National 3 North campaign the same way they started the first by outplaying Cheshire rivals Lymm.
Park completed the double with a four try bonus point 26-5 victory and moved above Lymm into fourth place in the process.
It was a satisfying afternoon as Birkenhead achieved their best away win of the season. Team manager George Pollock said: “This was our best display for some weeks and this is the level we should aspire to every week.
“The pack were outstanding and as a result Lymm were given little chance to play their open game.”
Hooker Stu Brown marked his return to the club after a spell at Anselmians with the first try and flanker Sean Mooney enjoyed an excellent match in the back row. Park play Chester this weekend.
