LSH want to sign off with festive cracker

LIVERPOOL ST HELENS approach the Christmas break in North One West looking for a big sign off against Rochdale this Saturday.

Although still in second place, the last two weeks have not gone well for the Moss Laners, outplayed by Widnes and losing to leaders Sandbach in trying and sadly, predictable circumstances last Saturday.

Nevertheless the Lane will be full of festive cheer this Saturday as President Ray French hosts the traditional LSH Christmas Lunch which promises to be bigger and better than ever with fun, games and presents from the French bottomless pit of exclusive prizes. The guests from Rochdale are in for a treat although regular patrons doubt that the time a Middlesbrough RUFC official went back on the bus with a state of the art vacuum cleaner will ever be surpassed.

On the pitch LSH will be without Dave Cunliffe, suspended following his dismissal last Saturday whilst Josh Grant-Butler and Ollie Griffiths may feature.
