BIRKENHEAD put in a resolute display in wet and windy Yorkshire conditions to edge the verdict in this National Three North League clash.
Park soon found themselves five points down to a Jason Moss try but an excellent move culminated in a Rob Houliston touchdown to make it 5-5.
Stu Brown then got over during a driving maul with Dave Hall converting. A Hall penalty stretched the lead but right on the interval Guy Font crossed for Bradford and Gavin Stead added the extras.
More good Park forward work culminated in a Martin O’Keefe try but it was game on again as Ryan Weatherall replied for the Yorkshiremen with the Stead conversion making it 20-19.
