RUGBY UNION: Waterloo go seventh up

WATERLOO moved up to seventh place in National Three North following a 23-19 win at home to Lymm.

Waterloo had the better of the opening half, taking a 6-0 lead followed by a try from Anthony Harvey, the prop being driven over to give the home side an 11-0 lead at the break.

Lymm came back strongly in the second half with a try from Peter Allan but with Nijki Tchacoute picking up a spilled ball to put Carl Nolan over for a try, converted by Reeve, Waterloo went 18-5 ahead.

Lymm came back again with a try and went all out to take the game but with James’O’Brien intercepting yet another promising move, Waterloo sealed the win.

Waterloo’s next agme is at Chester on Saturday week.
