THERE’S always two ways to look at everything. And with regard to LSH’S win over Rochdale last Saturday two views are quite enough.
It could be said that a team that creates countless chances but contrives to drop the ball, knock on, throw dodgy passes and generally fail to take the majority of those chances has not played well. If however the same team has finished off four of those chances and scored three more tries than the opposition to win and claim a valuable bonus point then, if you are one of the LSH faithful, it’s happy days.
“Yes we spilled quite a few chances,” said Martin Jones. “But overall Phil and I were delighted with the performance. As we keep saying we will work hard to sort out the errors whilst concentrating on what we do well.”
Anselmians, led by former LSH man Simon Mason, visit Moss Lane on Saturday.
Mark Devine and Paul McLindon may return with Dave Cunliffe unavailable.
