RAY WOOD is celebrating his first hole in one at Hurlston Hall.
His ace came at the 12th hole at the Ormskirk club – but is actually his eighth in total.
His six iron tee shot found the hole to the delight of playing partners John Sloan, Peter Hall and Alan Rumph.
Ray said: “As we walked towards the hole only three balls were visible and I thought it could be in the hole.”
And it was!
