FORMBY HALL has moved to strengthen its coaching team.
Sean Bailey has joined the club’s PGA Golf Academy as the new head instructor.
The 38 year-old, who turned professional in 1996 at Huyton and Prescot, has previously worked at the Scott Cranfield Golf Academy in London.
The team is led by head professional and golf manager Mark Williams and includes PGA qualified coach Richie Marsden and senior instructor Joel Rodwell.
Bailey is a qualified Mind Factor coach having trained with Dr Karl Morris. Previous posts also include Foregolf Chester and the North West National. He coaches the Liverpool University team and Southport College.
The club is offering a special winter swing check for golfers.
“It is the ideal time to prepare your winter training programme to make sure you start next season refreshed, improved and ready to shoot lower scores,” explained Williams.
“To help develop your plan we have introduced a new game assessment session which is designed to help discover which parts of your game you need to focus on.”
The session includes video and balance plate analysis, a putting, short and long game review and a club suitability check.
The cost is £30.
