Rugby union: Waterloo look ahead to must-win fixtures

FIRWOOD WATERLOO have two crucial home matches to go before the Christmas break – Burnage this Saturday followed by Kendal the week after.

These are must-win games and ones which will determine how the club face the second half of the season.

“I won’t be looking to the second half of the season until we have got these two matches out of the way,” head coach Jan van Deventer admitted.

“There is a total of ten points on offer and that is what we will be going for as I want to go into 2013 without having to look at what’s coming up behind.”

“We are in a good place at the moment and I want to keep it that way.”
