HILLSIDE’S Emily Taylor has confirmed her decision to turn professional and has joined the ISM stable.
She secured her 2013 Ladies European Tour card at qualifying school.
The 18-year-old (pictured), who finished tied second in Morocco, capped a memorable 2012 in which she won the Irish Women’s Open Amateur Strokeplay, the English Girls’ Under-18 Championship and the Telegraph Junior Golf Championship in association with Close House.
“I’m thrilled to be turning pro,” said Taylor, who played at the Ricoh Women’s British Open at Royal Liverpool for the first time. “I’ve learnt a lot and I can’t wait for my rookie year on tour.”
ISM managing director, Andrew ‘Chubby’ Chandler, said: “Emily has great potential and this is the natural progression for her.”
