LIVERPOOL golfer Eloise Healey secured a top 10 finish at the Doral Publix Junior Golf Classic in America.
The West Lancashire GC member had rounds of 73 78 75 for a total of 226 and a share of 10th in the 14-15 years age section.
The annual 54 hole international event takes place at the Doral Resort and Spa, Miami, in Florida.
Eloise followed the performance up with a third place finish in the PARS Junior International Championship for girls aged between 15 and 18 with rounds of 69, 79 and 81 in increasingly cold conditions. The event was played at the PGA Golf Club, Port St Lucie, Florida.
HELSBY will set out to defend their title when the 26th Peter Alliss Masters golf tournament takes place in 2013.
Kath Wilkinson is the defending champion after holding off clubmate Sharyn Butler at the top of the ladies competition at Elie, in Scotland. TV presenter Steve Rider and Paralympic gold medallist and world champion Monique Kalkman, who won medals for both table tennis and wheelchair tennis, also took part in the competition and prize presentation.
The 80-plus players represented golf clubs, societies and other organisations which have worked throughout the year on behalf of the Peter Alliss Masters Golfing Society. This is a registered charity set up to raise funds to buy powered wheelchairs for children, with TV commentator Alliss as its patron.

TRIBUTES have been paid to Southport-born Gerry Bond, who has died after losing his battle with cancer.
He had been a member of the PGA for more than 30 years and recently moved to the Blackburn area to be close to his work at Samlesbury Golf Centre.
During his career, the 55-year-old ran several golfing outlets, including two on Lord Street, enjoyed a spell as Huyton & Prescot pro and was director of golf at Hurlston Hall, near Ormskirk. He worked as a young assistant at Hesketh.
