LIVERPOOL St Helens return to North One West action this Saturday at Anselmians.
This will be the first outing in four weeks for both teams so the early exchanges could make interesting.
LSH will be looking to pick up where they left off in mid January and maintain their promotion challenge while Anselmians, with plenty of the season left, will be keen to kick-start their climb out of the relegation zone.
As with all games at this level and in this division, nothing can be taken for granted and the Moss Laners are well aware of the task in front of them, particularly at Malone Field. Anselmians have already dispatched Widnes, Wirral and Carlisle on their own patch this season and will be looking to add LSH to that list.
It has not been easy keeping his squad fully active in recent weeks but LSH director of rugby Martin Jones is pleased with the work they have done and is confident they will be ready for Saturday’s action. “Not a lot has changed since our last outing” he said. “We’ve almost a full squad to pick from and it will be good to get back on the park.”
