Waterloo trampled by Sandal

FORGET the 51-6 scoreline as there was no disgrace in Waterloo being beaten by a very good Sandal side on top of their game.

Full credit to the visitors for sticking to the task but having very little of the ball and forced to defend for the majority of the 80 minutes there was only ever going to be one outcome.

Sandal had already secured the bonus point in leading 25-3 at half time, Liam Reeve slotting a penalty for Loo.

And the one way traffic continued in the second half, although Reeve did manage a second penalty.

This Saturday Waterloo are at home to Rossendale who drew 42-42 away to Penrith.
