We mean business says Liverpool St Helens president French

It’s very much one step at a time for Liverpool St Helens as they march on after another bonus point victory last Saturday at Manchester.

Now with five games to go they remain just one point clear of Sale FC in North One West with Vale of Lune breathing down their necks.

Many at Moss Lane have been here before and have memories of last year’s play-off loss at Percy Park.

“There’s a lot can happen yet” says president Ray French. “One thing’s for certain though. These lads mean business. They’ve played together as a unit for a couple of years now and are getting their reward.”

French also acknowledges the impact of the undergraduate contingent at the Lane.

“The students have freshened up the squad and have made a real difference,” he says

Rochdale are the visitors this Saturday and Martin Jones’s men will do nothing different in their preparation as they hope to move one step nearer their target.
