THERE’S a defining weekend ahead for Oulton Park, who host ECB Premier Division rivals Hyde today in a vital Right Move Abroad Cheshire County League fixture which could make or break their bid to retain the title.
Then 24 hours later visit New Brighton bidding to hold onto the Cheshire Cup they so worthily won in 2005 and 2006.
Including five members of the Cheshire squad which lost to Suffolk in the Minor Counties Cup final at Lord’s last Monday, still unbeaten Oulton are at full-strength against Hyde, genuine challengers after taking 71 points from their last three games.
Meanwhile, Neston host Nantwich aiming to extend their fragile six points lead at the top of the table.
Back in form after winning handsomely at Bramhall last week-end, Neston enjoyed a seven-wicket win at Nantwich earlier in the summer.
