Cricket: Friends Provident give sponsorship inter-county under-19 cricket next season

CRICKET: Generous sponsorship by the Friends Provident Building Society is to give a boost to inter-county under-19 cricket next season and the Cheshire Board have taken the opportunity to arrange an attractive fixture-list against five of their neighbours.
The following are 100-over games, all 12-a-side with only 11 batting and fielding.
The fixtures are: Tuesday, June 24: Warwickshire at Grappenhall; Wednesday, July 9: Yorkshire at Heaton Mersey; Wednesday, Thursday, July 23, 24: Lancashire at Heywood (105 overs each day; Tuesday, August 5: Derbyshire Academy at Denby; Thursday, August 14: Notts Emerging Players at Trent Bridge Sports Club.
