Cheshire at ready

CRICKET: Beaten by Suffolk in last season’s Lord’s final, Cheshire open their programme of group games in the Minor Counties Cricket Association knock-out with a visit to Ampthill Town to meet Bedfordshire on Sunday (11am).

There are four players from Oulton Park in the team which is again captained by Bramhall batsman Andrew Hall and is drawn entirely from the Cheshire County League.
