Hall’s winning aim

CRICKET: Cheshire captain Andy Hall is looking for his team to build on their winning start to the season.

Last year’s Minor Counties champions beat Bedfordshire by six wickets on Sunday in their first group match in the MCCA Knockout Trophy.

This Sunday the county take on Shropshire at Neston in their second qualifying group match.

And Hall said: “We need to win at least three games to qualify, so hopefully we can keep our run going. It’s still very early but we want to keep winning.”
