Nantwich prepared to end Oulton dominance

IT’S coming up to three years since Oulton Park lost a game in The Right Move Abroad Cheshire County League.

That was on June 25, 2005 when Nantwich beat them by 33 runs.

Since then Oulton have won the title twice, but Nantwich have several times come close to beating them and they may fancy their chances of doing just that today at Little Budworth, especially as star Aussie batsman Glen Batticciotto has been granted leave of absence by his new Queensland paymasters to stay.

Unbeaten Division One leaders Oxton take on Wirral neighbours Birkenhead Park and should beware Park’s newly-arrived Indian all-rounder Ganapathi Vignesh, who beat Poynton practically single-handedly.
