What’s your verdict on Villa’s season to date?
We started moving in the right direction last season, but the improvement this time round is a big leap forward.
We’re playing a counter-attacking style that make us really exciting to watch and suits the players we have.

Considering how well you’re doing in the Premier League and you now have a genuine chance of Champions League qualification, is the FA Cup seen as a distraction at all?
I think if we really want to become a force to be reckoned with we need to start winning trophies.
If we are realistic, the FA Cup is probably still our best chance this season.
