“Most teams have been picking up points of late and trying to get as close as they can to Aston Villa.

“But we’ve managed to keep picking up points ourselves and keeping them away.

“It’s good from us that we’re still able to finish in fifth place, and West Ham are amongst a number of teams who can achieve a European place as well.

“They’ll certainly be coming up desperate to take the three points.

“I’m sure they are determined to nick that last European space, so I’m sure it will be a tough game.”

Osaman is looking forward to a rousing send-off from Everton’s supporters on Saturday as the team play at Goodison Park for the last time before the FA Cup final.

He said: “They’ll be really up for the game so we’re going to have to make sure we match them in all departments and hopefully we can win on the day.

“We hope that the fans turn up – as they always do.

“And, hopefully, if they make as much noise as they usually do, that will get the boys up and everyone going and hopefully it will mean we’ve got enough to win it.”
