And Castillo is open to other offers and has already held talks with Almeria.

“Almeria have been interested ever since last year,” said Castillo.“They wanted me for the last six months of the season, and today they are offering me a longer deal.

“We will see if we can find a good agreement with them.”

Meanwhile, Everton officials have confirmed that the club will participate in a victory parade if Moyes’s side lift the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday.

Everton’s players and coaching staff will travel on an open-top bus which will pass Goodison Park before terminating near to the city centre.

The victory parade will start at 2pm on Sunday at the Allerton Maze roundabout on Queen’s Drive. The route is 9.5 miles long and will take between three and three-and-a-half hours to complete.

The parade will travel along Queen’s Drive before turning onto Walton Avenue. It will then travel past Goodison Park, along Everton Valley, Kirkdale Road, Scotland Road, Byrom Street, Hunter Street and New Islington. It will then terminate and the players’ bus will be escorted back to Finch Farm.

Should Everton lose, then no open-top bus tour has been planned.
