Crunch time for Ledley

CARDIFF City chairman Peter Ridsdale admits it's crunch time for winger Joe Ledley.

Everton, Sunderland and Arsenal have been linked with the Wales captain.

And Ridsdale said: "We haven't had an offer for Joe but he has only got 12 months left on his contract. Clearly we would prefer him to either sign a long-term deal or to go somewhere else.

"Again that is just a fact of life at a football club, but for every player that goes out we will strengthen the squad."

Hunt bid rumoured

Everton Football Club are ready to offer £5million for Stephen Hunt.

David Moyes is eager to land a new midfielder during the summer, and it is believed the Toffees boss has failed with an offer of £12million for Standard Liege’s Steven Defour.
