Meanwhile, Landon Donovan has been granted a work permit for his loan move to Everton and will begin his stint at Goodison when the transfer window reopens on January 2.
Everton manager Moyes revealed last week that a temporary deal to bring the USA international to Merseyside from the LA Galaxy had been agreed.
Donovan has won 120 caps for his country and that international experience meant he was given the work permit for his two-and-a-half month stay at a hearing yesterday.
The 27-year-old has already spoken of his desire to move to Everton, where he will link up with compatriot Tim Howard.
Donovan, who has also scored more international goals than any other American, could be involved in the FA Cup third round tie against Carlisle United on Saturday week.
