Youngsters chance to be a mascot for Everton v Chelsea game at Goodison

Dream day for young Everton mascots against Manchester City

THE thrilling 2-0 victory over Manchester City last week was particularly memorable for one group of Merseyside children.

The Everton foundation arranged for 22 mascots, including one boy with muscular dystrophy, to enjoy a dream day at Goodison and Finch Farm.

Their day started with a tour of Goodison, when one selected the match ball as others had took photographs alongside their favourite player’s shirts.

Then it was onto the team coach to Finch Farm and a meeting with Jack Rodwell.

Later they led the team onto the pitch. On the day £16,000 was raised for The Everton Foundation.
