Marouane Fellaini 300
PHIL NEVILLE believes that Marouane Fellaini can provide the spark to fire an Everton revival at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Fellaini has been suspended for three matches since incurring a needless red card against Bolton – and in his absence the side has lost home games against Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion and drawn at Sunderland. Prior to that Bolton clash the influential midfielder had missed another four games with a hamstring strain.
Captain Neville, himself missing against West Brom with a knee problem, said: “Marouane has been missed. He came back for one game and he looked brilliant against Bolton. He looked super fit and then he got himself sent off.
“He does need to learn but he is back now.”
Neville hopes to be fit to return himself at Chelsea.
The 33-year-old explained: “The injury is coming on. It has taken longer than I thought to clear up but I should be back for the weekend.
“It was stiff after Sunderland and, having played that game, I probably knew I would miss West Brom but I should be back in full training by the middle of the week and then back in to face Chelsea.”
