Everton FC stars turn out to opening of memorabilia store at Metquarter
FORMER Everton FC players Mike Lyons and Derek Mountfield and ex-club director Lord Grantchester were among the special guests invited to cut the ribbon at a temporary Everton FC memorabilia store at Metquarter.
The shop, which will be open until Christmas, will showcase rare pieces from the vast Everton Collection, as well as selling club memorabilia and one-off pieces such as signed shirts.
Nightly events include Q&As with former players, which aim to entice shoppers to do their Christmas shopping while raising money for three charities – Everton In The Community, The Everton Collection and the Former Players’ Association.
The shop will be open from today until Sunday, December 23.
