Catch of the day as young keeper nets Everton's Tim Howard’s gloves

A TEEN goalkeeper who plucked Everton hero Tim Howard’s gloves out of the air says he will never let them out of his sight.

Howard sent the Goodison Park side into the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday by saving two penalties.

After sealing the 4-2 victory over North West rivals Manchester United, the squad jogged from the Man Utd goal to the Everton end to soak up the fans’ adulation.

And when Howard threw his gloves into the Wembley crowd, they were caught by Sunday League keeper Matthew Donnelly. The 15-year-old said: “I couldn’t believe it. I was sitting in row seven and he threw them into the crowd.

“I was already bouncing around. There was a bit of a battle to get them – I had to jump a row in front of myself to grab them. People around were just shaking my hand after.
