DANI PACHECO’S second-half strike helped Liverpool Reserves get back to winning ways, as they bounced back from four straight Barclays Premiership Reserve League Northern Section defeats to overcome Wigan Athletic 1-0 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington last night.
Liverpool’s young Australian goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis made several excellent stops to keep out the visitors before Weijl crossed for Pacheco to control and finish from close range.
