LIVERPOOL manager Rafael Benitez is set to lose his captain and vice captain over the coming weeks as they are called to testify in a court case starting tomorrow.
Liverpool FC stars Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher are expected to be called to Chester Crown Court by Trading Standards in their case against Sporting Icons.
The sports memorabilia company is accused of faking Gerrard, Carragher and other players’s signatures.
Jonny Wilkinson and Michael Owen could also be called to the witness box.
Graeme Walker, owner of the Chester-based outfit, and his former business partner Faisal Madani, face 106 specimen charges under the Trades Descriptions Act.
Both deny the charges.
The firm sold sports kits, including football and rugby jerseys.
