LIVERPOOL have announced two departures from Anfield on the final day of the transfer window.
Forward Andriy Voronin is heading to Hertha Berlin on a one-year loan deal while defender Steve Finnan is moving to Spanish side Espanyol for an undisclosed fee.
Liverpool continue to work on bringing in Espanyol winger Albert Riera before tonight's midnight deadline.
Ukraine international Voronin joined Liverpool on a free transfer from Bayer Leverkusen a year ago but has failed to win a regular place in the first team, scoring six goals in his 27 appearances. He moves back to the Bundesliga, where he previously played for Bayer Leverkusen, Cologne, Mainz and Borussia Monchengladbach.
Meanwhile Finnan has signed a two-year deal with the La Liga outfit after spending five seasons at Anfield.
The Republic of Ireland international joined from Fulham in 2003 and played 216 first-team matches.
