Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has added to the club’s Brazilian contingent after youngster Vitor Flora joined the Reds on a free transfer.

The club confirmed on www.liverpoolfc.tv that a deal has been agreed for the 18-year-old striker who holds an Italian passport and spent last season with Brazilian outfit Botafogo.

Flora joins compatriots Lucas and Fabio Aurelio at Anfield and could make his debut in the reserve-team fixture against Middlesbrough tomorrow if international clearance is received in time.

The club has also completed the signing of Hungarian goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, who spent last season on loan at Melwood as part of Gary Ablett's treble-winning team.

Gulasci, who  has signed a contract until 2010, said: "I am very proud to have signed for Liverpool. It's a dream for me to be working at such a great club, with expert trainers and alongside one of the best goalkeepers in the world in Pepe Reina.

"After spending one year on loan I had no hesitation in agreeing to sign a permanent contract. To have signed for Liverpool is an unbelievable feeling."
